Christmas Treats!

Oh my gosh hey everyone!! It's been so long since I last posted! I finished my first semester of college with all high Bs and As! I'm so happy! I haven't really been able to post because pictures take forever to upload back home, but now I am back at college where the internet is speedy!

Did you guys have a good Christmas? I had a great time spending time with family and friends, and making and eating a ton of yummy treats! We made a lot of treats to share with the neighbors and just ourselves! Haha!

Some foodie Christmas gifts I received were some cupcake ornaments, a cupcake calender, a recipe organizer, a iced coffee cup, candy, and I also got an amazing Dooney and Bourke purse with different colored Mickey Mouses on it! I love you mom and dad, thank you so much! < 3

On Christmas we had french toast casserole for dinner, lasagna and garlic bread for dinner, and chocolate cheesecake for dessert! Amazing! : )

So now here are all the treats we made!

Lunch with a friend!

So the past three days, I have gone out to eat lunch at three different places, but with the same friend!

On Sunday, we went to Gulliver's Book Store, which is this amazing bookstore with a cafe upstairs. We both got pesto turkey wraps, and cinnamon spice lattes which are like Starbucks Pumpkin spice lattes, but ten times better!

On Monday, we went to a little coffee shop near my culinary school where we split a garlic pizza with artichokes and tomatoes, and she got a white chocolate mocha, and I got an iced vanilla latte. Then for dessert, she had an amazing piece of tirimisu she let me have a few bits of, and I had yummy creme brulee!

Finally, today for lunch we went to Sourdough Sam's Cafe! She had an omelet, hash browns, and biscuits with gravy, and I had a blueberry creme with a side of hash browns!

Then, for dessert we both had warm pecan pie with vanilla ice cream!

I was so happy to spend three days of a row with this amazing friend and am going to miss her so much!!

Washington DC, Seattle, and Birthday recap!

Well we also went to Washington DC, we saw so many sights, and one of my favorite was seeing Julia Child's kitchen at the American History Museum!

Yay!

After DC, we went back to Seattle and spent time with family. We had greek food together, pizza nights, went to many restaurants, and had a BBQ together! At the BBQ we had goooood pie, I'm going to have to steal it from my aunt for my future bakery. ; ) I also had lots of ice cream, haha of course!

When we finally made it home my friend threw me an ice cream party, and then on my birthday we had Thai chicken, jalapeno mac and cheese, carrots/cucumbers, pecan bars, and toasted Marshmallow shakes. We had had the shakes at a restaurants in Washington DC, and we knew we had to remake them at home!

Since then we've just been happy to be home with our family and puppies! I got so tired of restaurants, so it's nice to be making things at home! I can't wait for school in the fall and for baking/cooking in the future!

Loooove you all!
